I'm currently counting the days, almost hours, until the gigs at Brixton Academy this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Amazing it will be, I'm sure of it!
Here's an article from Beat; an interview with Brett.
full of sacred sound But you're outside where the companies dream and the money goes round...
Life through music. When something is important to you it tends to infuence your life and it becomes a part of who you are. This something for me is music; I simply cannot live without it. Through this blog I share some insights and reflections upon the music in my life.

Words
"But I'm confident there will be a sixth Suede album. I am. I am going to put all of my energy into making a fantastic record. And when I put all of my energy into something, it tends to happen."This quotation is of course from Mr Anderson, and you can read the whole interview done by BBC America here.
Suede: Slightly restless euphoria, yet another interview with Brett. This one is different though, it's about music, art and more... and I like it.

Whipsnade
This past Saturday Suede played their first show for many years in the U.S.; you can find some footage from it on the web.
Amongst some youtube videos I found this interview with Brett and Simon. The sound quality is really poor, but apart from that I think it's a good interview. And I must say I like the interviewer's top three Suede songs. It's not often I hear Whipsnade being mentioned as a favourite and I’m also a fan of that song. It's in part therefore I've used lyrics from it to name my other blog: 'While pylons hide the suicide'.

My heart needs a love dance
Since I don't live in the U.K., I don't have the opportunity to run from record store to record store this Record Store Day to find this beautiful 7" Suede vinyl...
Because of this, I simply lose myself in some other music than Suede today. I listen to gimmeindie.se, or why not this lovely video to You Say Party's 'Laura Palmer's Prom':

Dates to keep in mind
This summer's going to be something special for Suede fans. Even though many hard core fans have collected most of the available material (and even material not available) this release of the remastered records and the additional material (e.g. Love & Poison finally on DVD) should include something extra for the most of us.
Check out these links to Suede's webpage to read the full content of the releases (and preorder):
And before these releases we have the concerts at Brixton Academy on May 19, 20 and 21 to look forward to. Suede playing their first three albums, one each night. And, Chapel Club warming up the audiences beforehand. It sounds fantastic.
I do have a three-night-pass but I'm not sure I will be able to go to London. However, I will certainly try.

Gimme Indie
There is this site that you must visit if you have a somewhat love for indie music, like I do. Here's some info for you: www.gimmeindie.se
There you'll find:
The site's in Swedish yes it is, but don't let that stop you. There are tweets in English that you can follow!
It's hard to believe that there is only one man behind this site. Read about him here!
There you'll find:
- web radio playing a mix of good indie music,
- live shows aired directly to your computer (or iphone),
- a back catalogue of previously aired live shows that you can listen to again.

Production
Found this interview with Ed Buller via the Suede forum, and I think it'll be a nice read in between the Christmas celebrations.
