Life through music. When something is important to you it tends to infuence your life and it becomes a part of who you are. This something for me is music; I simply cannot live without it. Through this blog I share some insights and reflections upon the music in my life.

Science of Hate

Interesting title, isn't it? It's the name of the second track off Visions of Trees' single 'Sirens (Novocaine)'.

True Blue

Sometimes it takes time to find things, and other times you just happen to stumble over something you didn't know you were looking for. And then there are those in between.

I'm an old fan of Madonna and this year it's 25 years since her album 'True Blue' was released. Today I stumbled over a lovely cover version of that album done by Paper Bag Records. This album puts at smile on my face on this cold November day. Don't you miss out on this free sunshine! Listen to it at SoundCloud or download it free at Paper Bag Records.

Masquer

Masquer is another great Swedish band. Yesterday they played at Debaser Slussen, Stockholm. Hear their gig at Gimme Indie!

'Happiness' has been on my playlist for a while but since I've listened to their album 'Cover my face as the animals cry' I've added some, this one for example:

Paper Bag

I've posted this song before, here it is again: Austra's 'Lose It'. Katie Stelmanis and the magnificent piano, nothing more, nothing less.

Sant, sant, sant...

Invasionen. What a fantastic band.

I saw them live the other night, it was a wonderful experience to hear their songs live, directly from their hearts, to my heart. The musical energy vitalizing my body, to lose myself in honest love for a while, the love that arises from true enthusiasts to a thirsty junkie.

I know it is a truth that's questionable, but I cannot live without the music I love. The music and above all the concerts, they give me strength to live another day.Through music I live, it's my life.

Thank you Invasionen!

Crash About to Happen

The video for the new single off Brett Anderson's album 'Black Rainbows' is a montage from the gig at Koko, London on October 12. It seems like it was a fantastic show.

This song is one of my favourites off the album, just listen to it!
