Sibille Attar's first record, the EP 'The Flower's Bed', was released this month. I have had the pleasure of listening to it on both vinyl and Spotify for some time now and I really love it. I have earlier shared a couple of songs from the EP and here is now the first video from the record. The beautiful song 'The Day':

Onyx

Here is a new song, 'Onyx', by Telepathe who is performing at "Brooklyn Sweden" this weekend in Stockholm and Malmö, alongside many other interesting bands. Sadly, I will not be there.

Behind the scenes

I liked 'Observations' when I first heard it. I loved 'She Owns the Streets' when it came out. So I have been looking forward to the new album, Observator, by The Raveonettes.

Tonight I saw the first part of Making of 'Observator'. It is a behind the scenes video narrated by Sune Rose Wagner. What a lovely mood it got me into. Too bad I will have to wait some three weeks before the album is out, I kind of want to listen to it now.

Ambulance

It's a song that's been on my playlist for a while. However I just started listening to the whole EP some days ago, it's a nice one. So here you go. 'Ambulance' from the EP 'Strangers May Kiss' by Coco Morier:

Wildbirds & Peacedrums

I have recently spent some time in my old home town in the northern part of Sweden. Whilst being there I went to the small, one day festival Broöppning! on August 4. It is truly a small festival. For one evening/night some interesting bands play different stages at the island of Härnö, an island on which a great part of the town Härnösand is situated. This year the Cathedral had been added as one stage of four, and I believe the total tickets sold were 900.

I saw lovely performances by Anna Järvinen, Frida Hyvönen, Deportees and Loney Dear.

Then I stumbled upon something new that I had not heard before. It was the duo Wildbirds & Peacedrums. Their music just hit me as I witnessed their powerful gig at St Petri Logen.
